BLUEBOX LIMITED FILMS is a production company banner established in 2001 by Iowa filmmakers Scott Beck & Bryan Woods. Bluebox Limited produces feature films, shorts, commercials, and television content which has garnered success throughout the nation with MTV and Project Greenlight.
Bluebox Limited's slate includes IMPULSE starring Chris Masterson from FOX's hit show MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE. Post-production work for IMPULSE was handled at George Lucas' Skywalker Sound and digital intermediate house Company 3 (TRANSFORMERS, STAR TREK). The film premiered on the closing night of the 2010 LA Shorts Fest and played before a panel of judges headed by producer Paula Wagner (WAR OF THE WORLDS, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III). IMPULSE was acquired for worldwide distribution by Shorts International and is available on iTunes, DirecTV, Dish Network and AT&T U-verse. After its iTunes debut, IMPULSE became the #1 most downloaded film in its first week of release.
Bluebox Limited Films has several projects in development including SPREAD, a scripted pilot for MTV.
Scott Beck & Bryan Woods are two young filmmakers from Bettendorf, Iowa who now work in Los Angeles. Beck & Woods have been writing, directing, and producing films together since 1996. They have produced numerous feature films, shorts, and recently secured a development deal with MTV.
Scott Beck & Bryan Woods are currently developing several projects with their production company, Bluebox Limited, LLC. They are also attached to write and direct a pilot for MTV.
